    Dear Mrs. Retta Beery,
I am writing to you as a result to reading the article about the correct diagnosis and recovery of your twins, Noah and Alexis. I am really glad for them and i am writing with the hope to find some more answers. My name is Alexandru Zamfir and i am from Romania. My brother, Mihai, 12 years old, is clinically diagnosed with cerebral palsy, more specific spastic tetraparesis with extrapyramidal features. He suffers from this illness since birth. He can t walk, talk and his muscles are very spastic. He is doing rehabilitation gym and we even tried stem cells therapy but with no clear results. Reading your article went me to the conclusion that the next step for my brother would be a genetical diagnosis. In conclusion, my respectful request to you is to tell me what is the procedure to follow to get a genetic diagnosis for my brother at the same institution you did having in consideration that my family and i are not from the USA.
    With hope,
    Alexandru Zamfir

    Dear Alexandru,
I apologize for just now getting your message. I am so sorry to hear about your brother. The lab that our twins went to is Baylor College of Medicine and Dr. Wiesniewski could assist you in setting up a whole genome sequencing for your brother. Please let me know if you are still interested in pursuing that as I could connect you. It may be possible for him to draw blood and send it to Houston, Texas, to Baylor College of Medicine, to have the sequencing without you needing to travel. My email address is: Retta.beery@me.com if you would like to contact me directly.
    We are praying for Mihai.
    Sincerely,
    Retta
