Subject: Prayer request for Mary Cate
Hello everyone,
In my last email I shared the story of Mary Cate and how she came to find the Woman's World article. Her doctor is starting her on the medication today and I wanted to ask you to pray for her. She posted the message below on our website.

I have been in touch with Retta Beery and what a blessing she is! I go to the doctor on Sept. 15th (tomorrow morning) at 9:15 a.m. for a consultation and prescription for Leva-Dopa a.k.a Sinemet. I will begin taking the medicine on Monday (this was my decision after much prayer), due to not wanting to start a new medicine on the weekend when my doctor is not in the office. The pharmacy has to order the medicine anyway because they don't have any. Here is my prayer tonight: Heavenly Father, thank you the the gift of life and all the blessings that you give us that we cannot see. Tonight, I especially thank you for the information I received about dystonia which has given me a new hope for not only me but countless others. You have placed it on my heart, Lord, to share this information with others for the rest of my life. I hope you send children into my life Lord and their parents so I can share this information as well as the JOY of your love. Help me to remember that even if the medicine does not help me that YOU already give me more joy than two perfect legs ever could. I come to do YOUR MOST HOLY WILL! SHOW ME THE WAY, I AM READY TO SERVE YOU LORD AND ALL OF YOUR CREATION! Thank YOU for being my joy and the showing me to lead others to YOU and the truth. In Your Most Holy Word, You say "The truth shall set you free." Let me be a vessell in bringing the truth of Your Word and the truth of DYSTONIA to others. I remember in Scripture how the paralytic had faith and took up his mat and walked. I pray many will learn of dystonia and walk not only physically but in the light of Your Truth. Thank you for creating me just as I am! I love YOU! Your humbled and joy-filled daughter! Please remember to comfort me in your tender and infinite mercy if the Sinemet does NOT work! Mary Cate is such an amazing example of faith, love and obedience. She has touched my life in many ways and I pray her example touches each one of you as you lift her up in prayer.
I spoke with one of my best friends earlier today and asked her how her cousin's surgery went. Her cousin, Kristi, had a horse accident 20 years ago at age 15 and is a paraplegic. She has been in severe pain and needed an intense, life threatening surgery this morning (I know many of you were praying for her, thank you). Michelle, my friend, told me that she woke up this morning and God gave her a word, that it was Miracle Monday. We shared how several more of our friends, Melaine Rasmussen and Kelly Clark are having surgery today. I was so grateful for the word Michelle was given and then I logged onto our website and saw this posting from Mary Cate. I'm going to pray, with the faith and belief that today is Miracle Monday for Mary Cate and that God will use this medication to enable her to walk and have use of her body. Will you join me in praying for a miracle for Mary Cate?
