Dear United Cerebral Palsy,

 

My 11 year old twins were diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy when they were 20 months old. 

Our son, Noah, had an MRI that showed damage in the ventricle area of his brain which is termed PVL.  Noah was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and, subsequently, Alexis was as well. Alexis had 3 MRI’s which never showed any brain damage, however, she looked like a little girl with Cerebral Palsy as her fore arms were always up to her chest with her hands pointing down, her eyes would often roll up into her head, she had no balance and her body would tremor for hours at a time. I had done research for years and this diagnosis followed all the documentation I had read.
